Professional outdoor soccer is coming to Cleveland

In 2022, we announced that Cleveland Pro Soccer will launch a professional men's team as part of the MLS NEXT Pro soccer league. Cleveland is long overdue for having a pro team. We can't wait to kick off.

The future home of professional outdoor soccer in Northeast Ohio will seat 12,000-13,000 people, prioritize public transportation and serve our MLS NEXT Pro team, prospective women's professional club and other local sports.

Welcome to MLS NEXT Pro

Launched in 2022 by Major League Soccer, MLS NEXT Pro is a professional men's soccer league that will field 29 teams in 2024 in U.S. and Canada. Its season runs March through October.

MLS NEXT Pro continues to grow the game through innovation and diversity, bringing professional soccer to new communities and creating global opportunities both on and off the field.
